Join Us!

We have about 130 active members aged between 7 and 22, we want to grow the Club and we encourage new members.

To join the Club you will need to arrange an assessment of swimming ability for your child with the Membership Secretary. This usually takes place during normal training sessions with one of the coaches who will then determine which training squad to put your child in. There may be a waiting time to begin with, depending on the availability of places.

Contact the Membership Secretary or speak to a Club representative at the pool on Sunday evenings. Once you have applied, you will be sent information including a Medical Details Declaration form.

2010 Subscription Fees

Subscription fees are collected on joining the Club and thereafter half yearly in March* and September. The latest letter and renewal forms can be found at this link. The 2010 fees are listed below.

*March 2010 subscriptions should be paid by 26th March. Subscriptions sent by post should arrive no later than 22nd March.

Half-yearly fee per Junior or Senior Squad member	£180.00	Families with a third child swimming will receive a 50% discount for that child.
Half-yearly fee per Puffin or Penguin	£90.00	Swimming once a week.
Half-yearly fee for older members	£75.00	Members who have completed their GCSE’s.
Half-yearly fee for Associate Membership	£2.00	Non swimming.
Half-yearly fee for contribution to poolside insurance	£2.00	For adults volunteering to help poolside. You  also need to fill in a pink form for the A.S.A. Available from the Club Treasurer.

Third Child Discount

Families with a third child swimming will receive a 50% discount for that child.

Non-Swimming Membership

Non-swimming membership must be taken by any parent helping pool side during training sessions (so that they are covered by ASA insurance).  You will need to complete a Piranhas membership form and a ‘Green Insurance Form’ (located in the back of the register at reception or from the Treasurer) and give both to the membership secretary.

How to Pay

Cheques should be made payable to ‘The Edenbridge Piranhas’.

Standing Orders

If you pay by standing order, complete the renewal form and return it to the Membership Secretary and please remember to contact your bank, to increase the monthly payments:

£15.00 per month for Puffins and Penguins.
£30.00 per month for  Full members. Forms can be obtained from the Club Treasurer.

Cancelling Membership

Please let us know if you do not wish to renew your membership.
